Open beta: free access until 31 December 2026 inclusive. Every new family receives at least 30 free days in all cases.

The gift is added when you create your family. During the free period, the shared fund balance remains untouched.
The gift represents around 12 months at the current base rate, after your free period.
After free access ends: The service uses the shared fund each month. Your bank card is never charged automatically.
Free access ends on the later of the beta end date or the family creation date plus 30 days. These periods are not added together.
Once your email is verified and your family space is created, €71.88 is automatically added to the shared fund, once per new family. There is no code to enter and no limit on participating families. Joining an existing family does not trigger another gift.
As a guide, this credit represents around 12 months at the current base rate of €5.99 including tax, in addition to your free period. Storage extensions and price changes may affect this duration. The gift is non-refundable.
After free access ends, the fund is used in full monthly instalments. If it no longer covers a full month, access is restricted until a sufficient contribution is made; no card payment is triggered automatically.
Payments remain disabled during pre-launch.
Shared funding without individual subscriptions
Once payments open, authorised adults will be able to contribute to the shared family fund. Everyone chooses their amount.
One person can fund everything, several relatives can share the costs, and everyone can use the space without a mandatory financial contribution.
The shortcuts cover the equivalent of 1 to 12 monthly instalments at the current rate, with a custom amount starting from 2 €.
Claire adds €20, Marc €10 and Pauline €5.99. Their contributions add €35.99 to the shared family fund, or around six months at the current rate of €5.99 including tax.
Contributing grants no administration rights. Each payer keeps a private payment history; other members see only the aggregate shared family fund.
The beta service, its private media and database are already hosted by OVHcloud. Stancer has been selected for future web payments, which remain disabled during pre-launch.
The shared family fund pays only for your Cœur de Famille space. Contractual documents describe this as “prepaid family credit”. The accumulated fund has no cap; it cannot be transferred or withdrawn, subject to applicable statutory rights. Its duration remains an estimate that may change if the storage quota increases.
